Technical Trainer  

Roles and Responsibilties

• Deliver classroom, event and on-line training to customers or colleagues.
• Developing and maintaining training content, hands-on lab exercises, presentations, and accompanying materials.
• Apply advanced troubleshooting techniques and root cause analysis to provide solutions to internal needs.
• Working with other teams to ensure a consistent and high-quality level of course.
• Diving deep into an Area of Depth and build Subject Matter Expertise in Architecture, DevOps, Big Data, Deep Learning, etc.

Basic Qualifications

• Has experience in programming, systems architecture or systems administration.
• Has experience with Windows and Linux including command line.
• Good oral presentation skills, interpersonal communication, and writing skills.
• Self-sufficient, self-starter with proven success taking ownership of training projects.
• Ability to travel globally. Travel is around 30% & will mostly take place in APAC region.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Science / Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 1+ year experience of IT-related field.
• Experience in programming, systems architecture or systems administration on cloud provider as AWS, GCP or Azure.

Preferred Qualifications

• Enable to deliver courses in English – listening, speaking, reading, writing / conversational
• A strong “stage presence” and ability to manage a classroom of learners.
• Recent coding experience in one or more of the following languages, Bash, PowerShell, .Net, JavaScript, Go, Perl, PHP, Ruby or Python, etc.
• Knowledge and/or hands-on experience with cloud providers infrastructure services highly desired.
• Recent experience architecting, deploying, and operating Internet scale applications
• Experience conducting classroom training for related technology products and services.
• Cloud providers Certification, e.g. AWS Solutions Architect Associate, Azure AZ-100, GCP Associate Cloud Engineer, etc.
