Business Analyst  

About the Opportunity

We are looking for a Senior Business with experience within a SaaS environment to provide strategic business analysis expertise in the development of our new products. The Business Analyst will be responsible for reviewing assigned business processes from end-to-end to identify and address operational, financial and technological risks. Identifying opportunities to improve efficiency. Performing detailed requirements analysis, documenting processes, and performing some user acceptance testing.

To succeed in this role, you should have a natural analytical way of thinking and be able to explain difficult concepts to non-technical users. The ideal candidate is both technically savvy and able to collaborate well with the team through his/her exceptional communication skills, who gravitates towards issue ownership and accountability.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Evaluating business processes, anticipating requirements, uncovering areas for improvement, and developing and implementing solutions.
• Performing requirements analysis and precisely documenting requirements, considering both the finest level of detail and the broader business objectives.
• Writing functional specifications and user stories.
• Providing pragmatic solutions that meet business needs and requirements.
• Prioritizing initiatives based on business needs and requirements.
• Conducting meetings and presentations to share ideas and findings.
• Gathering critical information from meetings with various stakeholders and producing useful reports.
• Performing user acceptance testing.
• Serving as a liaison between the cross-disciplinary team (development, quality assurance, support, management), both onshore and offshore.
• The candidate should be self-sufficient and be able to operate at a variety of levels in the organization.

Requirements (Must-haves):

• 8+ years of experience in a similar field is required for this position.
• Minimum 1 - 2 years of working in a SaaS project.
• Experience in creating requirements documents and specifications.
• Experience with UML modeling tools, business processes (BPMN), state diagrams and conceptual data models and ability to express complex ideas with those tools and methodologies is a must.
• Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
• Excellent documentation skills.
• Experience working closely with a development team.

Advantages (Nice-to-haves, Not Required)

• Salesforce Service Cloud or Communitites highly desirable or any Salesforce modules.
• Project Management experience is highly desired.
• Knowledge of OTC Derivative financial instruments.
• Experience as a product owner in an Agile environment.
