Paralegal  

A. Regular Duties (daily/weekly)

• Prepare/draft affidavits, contracts, secretary certificates, and any other corporate legal documents
• Prepare other papers and/or documents including drafting of letters, notices and replies, reviewing different forms of contract, memoranda and agreement among others, as endorse by the different departments of the company
• Closely coordinate with the CEO and the company’s law firm retainers regarding all legal contracts affecting the company
• Assist the legal contracts of other departments specifically in the notarization of contracts
• Perform liaison function with government agencies but not limited to BIR, DOLE, ROD , and offices under the City Government such as the Assessor’s Office and the Treasurer’s Office
• Conduct due diligence for land acquisition

B. Occasional Duties (monthly)

• Travel to other branches of the company with the personnel asking for assistance such as from the HR Office regarding DOLE matters (takes 4-8 hours)

• Preferably, has a Bachelor’s degree in Liberal Arts/Legal Management with good scholastic records
• Preferably, a Law graduate/student
• Has experience in paralegal work preferably in a law office/in-house Legal Department (corporate)
• Competent in drafting of pleadings, letters, contract reviews, document review and editing, etc.
• Extensive background in legal research, reporting, and compliance
• Proficient in basic office computer applications and software (Word, Outlook, Excel, Powerpoint, etc.)
• Can coordinate and communicate with various government agencies (NLRC, SC, CA, Courts, BI, DOLE, BIR, etc.) achieving desired results, and should have excellent inter-personal skills
• Highly flexible, can work under pressure and within a limited or short time-frame
• Great writing skills with attention to detail
• Organized, pro-active, solution based, and results-oriented
