- Serves as a liaison between Chief Compliance Officer, other departments, and external agencies for the purpose of relaying instructions and information.
- Follows commitments through to completion.
- Prepares legal documents, governmental filings, letters, memos, or reports and corporate and transactional documentation for general corporate housekeeping and specific transactions.
- Maintains minute books, stock registers, and other corporate records.
- Acts as a research and information source for corporate structure information, resolutions, officer/director information, and other historical corporate information.
- Identifies and resolves problems that would not require Chief Compliance Officer's direct involvement.
- Handles confidential and sensitive information.
- Provides various other administrative support consistent with the position.
Trình độ tối thiểu
- Degree in Legal Management or Bachelor of Laws.
- Ideally 3-5 years of relevant paralegal experience or equivalent work experience in a corporate legal department or law firm.
- Strong skills in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and other relevant computer applications.
- Strong work ethic.
- High attention to detail, well organized, works efficiently and takes ownership of work.
- Ability to work in a team-oriented work environment as well as independently.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize and follow through on numerous assignments simultaneously.
- Ability to develop systems and processes.
- Fact-based problem-solving.
- Flexibility and willingness to assist in other areas as needed.
