Accounting Supervisor  

Primary Function of this role:

• Processing monthly journals – (e.g. interest received etc.)
• Supervise every aspect of a company’s accounting function.
• Required to address any anomaly if budget guidelines are not followed and endeavor to reach a solution with the Department Head.
• To make the Company profitable, the accounting supervisor would develop and incorporate operating procedures for individual departments so that cash flow can be checked and efficiently tracked.
• Review balance sheet, general ledger accounts, and income statement schedules.
• Implement automation and process improvements to reduce redundancy.
• Oversee posting, verify, calculate and type duties to perform.
• Manage the accurate, reliable, and timely reporting for internal requirements.
• Provide metrics and specific reporting to senior management.
• Assist in making key business decisions by providing special accounting analysis.

Secondary function of this role:

• Daily/ periodic Invoicing – process invoices for relevant department upon receipt of relevant invoice request.
• Receipt of customer payments – process transactions.
• Communicate with staff/ members / customers regarding invoicing and payment of invoices.

Education:

• Graduate of Accountancy with background in Financial Management. With post-graduate course or diploma.

Experience:

• Must have at least 3 years or more experience in generalist accounting or finance with two (2) years on supervisory position. Knows NETSUITE Apps.
• With work experience on Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) is a plus factor.
• Highly proficient with relational database accounting software, and with Microsoft Excel Package
• With work experience on Credit and Collection
