Sales and Marketing Manager  

The Sales and Marketing Manager is expected to maximize advertising revenues from media agencies and clients through proactive sales activities. We are looking for a creative and highly motivated people manager that understands the magazine industry and its market.

Specific duties include:

• Expanding and maintaining our advertising base.
• Identifying opportunities for growth and new business.
• Building strong relationships with key contacts from media agencies, maintaining a high level of communication via phone, email and meetings.
• Adapting unique and relevant sales presentations & proposals for each sales opportunity in order to achieve the advertisers’ objectives.
• Generating advertising revenue in both print and online media, ensuring all bookings are followed up and recorded accurately.
• Achieving sales targets set by management.
• Understanding the market and creating new ideas to maximize revenue potential.
• Working with the sales team and management to devise sales strategies and ensure effective execution.
• Proactive sales prospecting and lead generation.
• Accurate forecasting the knowledge and the ability to manage an assigned target.
• Effectively mentoring and managing people under his/ her team.

• Minimum 2 years media sales experience in a sales manager position (in a magazine or broadsheet);
• Publishing and online media sales experience;
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
• Excellent presentation and negotiation skills;
• Experience in dealing with clients & media agencies at all levels;
• Self-motivated, independent and driven to succeed;
• The ability to work under pressure & show attention to detail.
