Transport and Import Manager  

Your challenges:

Within the logistics / supply chain team, you will guarantee the availability of our Sport Products by managing the importation and transportation of our shipments from the origin to our dedicated platform / warehouse.

You will also guarantee the compliance of all products under catalogue in the local market – to be legally imported & traded in the Philippines.

Your responsibilities:

• Management of transport (freight; either by air, by road, by sea, or by any multimodal transport) and customs service providers;
• Control of transport and customs expenditures;
• Management of the economic performance of the activity to achieve optimum profitability;
• Lead negotiations with the service providers;
• Monitoring of key performance indicators and carrying out actions to achieve the objectives;
• Harmonized System Code (HS Code) Commodity Classification of all products in our range;
• Ensure that all Decathlon products are in compliance with Philippine customs and local regulations (e.g., labeling, packaging, certification);

• Must be practicing a sport on a regular basis
• Excellent communication skills in English and in Filipino
• Knowledge of Harmonized System Code Classification
• Computer literate (Excel and other data management tools)
• A good capacity of analysis
• A solid experience in importation, transport planning, and flow management is a major advantage
• Has a good sense of responsibilities and knows how to make decisions
• Attentive to detail
