Miêu Tả Về Công Việc
- Handles request for purchase thru approved Purchase Requisition Form (PRF);
- Ensures all documentation on PRF is accurate;
- Follows through with purchase from order placement to fulfillment;
- Ensures order arrives intact and on time;
- Verifies amount of item to purchase;
- Handle questions and concerns about merchandise;
- Tracks purchase from placement of order until delivery;
- Ensures item arrives as agreed;
- Verifies purchased item meets all specifications in the PRF;
- Notifies requestor/department of the delivery of order;
- Compares prices and expected delivery dates proposed by supplier/vendor;
- Selects the best-priced item without compromising quality;
- Compiles record of items purchased or transferred between departments, prices, deliveries;
- Determines cause of any delays;
- Verifies billed amount with goods received;
- Handles invoice and forwards to accounting department;
- Performs related tasks which may be assigned from time to time.
Trình độ tối thiểu
- Education - minimum educational requirement and/or specific course requirement for the position
- A graduate of a 4-year course from a reputable college or university
- Training and Experience - Training and seminars, short courses required to perform the job
- At least 3-years relevant experience in purchasing
- Knowledgeable in computer applications
- Familiar with inventory and purchasing system
- Specific Skills and/or attitude
- Organized
- Keen to details
- Resourceful
- Can communicate well both in oral and written English
- Team player
- Ability to negotiate, i.e. pricing, order volume, etc.
