- Listen to the recorded dictation of a physician or other healthcare professional
- Transcribe and interpret the dictation into the BS PRS System or Microsoft Word Templates
- Enters Physician Closure and EBM codes.
- Translate medical abbreviations and jargon into the appropriate long form
- Identify inconsistencies, errors, and missing information within a report
- Follow up with the Transcription Coordinator to ensure the accuracy of the reports when necessary
- Follow patient confidentiality guidelines and legal documentation requirements
Trình độ tối thiểu
- A high school diploma or the equivalent in work experience is required
- Minimum 2 years experience in transcription.
- Strong PC and typing skills.
- Strong understanding of Medical Terminology.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong PC skills including proficieny in Microsoft Word.
- Ability to use a headset and foot pedal.
- Ability to organize and multitask.
- A flexible team player.
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
- Self-motivated.
- Attention to Detail.
