Associate/Senior Associate | Korean Language | Digital Currency Team  

What We’re Looking For

Coins is looking for talented Associates to join our newly formed Digital Currency team and support our users with specialized knowledge. As part of this role, you will be expected to study and gain expert knowledge about Cryptocurrencies, the Blockchain, tokenization, and other Digital Assets.

The ideal candidate is ambitious and has prior experience in startups, finance, or IT. This role will support not only our users in the Philippines but also our users as we continue to explore new opportunities internationally.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Operations to support customers with specialized concerns related to Digital Currencies
• Monitor and analyze customer Bitcoin transactions on the Blockchain
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Data, Treasury, and Compliance teams to improve processes
• Maintain a high level of subject matter knowledge on topics like Bitcoin, the Blockchain, Digital Assets, and other critical topics. A rigorous reading curriculum will be part of the onboarding process for this role

• Fluent in written and spoken Korean, with experience supporting Korean clients
• Bachelor or Masters degree in Economics, Finance, Business, Computer Science, or other STEM disciplines
• 1+ year prior experience at a startup, market-focused financial institution, or IT (we will make some exceptions for very knowledgeable fresh grads that have relevant skills or quality internship experience)
• Strong prior interest in Digital Currency, a clear understanding of foundational concepts and the ability to quickly learn more
• Excellent communication skills (English and Korean) and ability to interact with customers calmly
