JR Accounts Analyst | Passenger Sales Accounting  

Summary

The Junior Accounts Analyst is responsible for analyzing, processing, and recording domestic and international passenger sales reports, validating travel tax documentation and remittances, and other related documents and transactions as well as analyzing pertinent Pax Sales accounting entries and accounts.

Duties

• Monitor and account for passenger sales and remittance reports submitted by different distribution channel.
• Validate and check the completeness of all finalized bookings made by agents against the sales report data thru the Navitaire system.
• Check all applicable conditions (rate sheets, promo validity) related to the issuance of each finalized booking.
• Validate each amount collected against the fare type and applicable fare conditions.
• Match daily sales report against the weekly sales report and their corresponding remittance report.
• Prepare discrepancy notices, such as debit and credit memos.
• Attend to inquiries from reporting entities being handled.
• Check and validate all billings received from the tour operators for fun tour packages by using the EZREZ system.

• At least a Bachelor's/College degree Major in Accounting or graduate of any Accounting major course.
• Required skills:
  • Computer literate.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications.
  • Analytical and keen to details.
  • Good interpersonal.
  • Fast learner and can work under pressure.
• Preferably 1-4 years of experience specializing in Finance - General/Cost Accounting or any equivalent course, field, or discipline.
• Knowledge or with certificate in Basic Airline tariff and Ticketing, SAP, and Navitaire is an advantage.
