Job Overview

The Photo Enhancement Manager (PEM) is responsible for the performance, productivity, and the output quality of our Post-Processing Department. They oversee a remote team of photo editors, provide quality assurance for deliverables, and help with training and development. The PEM works closely with managers from other departments to ensure the successful delivery of projects and client satisfaction. They manage escalations, field internal and external communications, and innovates to stay ahead of marketing trends.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Assign projects to photo editors and ensure deadlines are met
• Edit photos that need corrections and provide constructive feedback to team members
• Maintain a rigorous quality assurance process
• Adopts escalations and stewards to client satisfaction
• Manages departmental budgeting requirements
• Develops and manages key performance indicators
• Provide reports to identify issues and develop solutions
• Manages and executes internal projects
• Delivers effective updates and company memorandums so other departments stay informed
• Conducts research and development
• Identify system improvements and implement standard operating procedures
• Pilot new software and support in providing guidelines for implementation
• Train team members, build training documents, and support with talent acquisition
• Participate in educational opportunities, engage in professional organizations and networks, and work on professional development

Qualifications

• Ample real estate photography experience
• Detail obsession
• Expertise in high-quality photo editing
• Ability to provide instructions and set standards for editing
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize and set deadlines
• Ability to work well in a high-paced environment
• Familiarity with quantitative and qualitative data collection
• Aptitude for technical/systems adoption and ability to pick up new technologies quickly
• Fluency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop & Lightroom)
• Proficient with Google G Suite and other word processing software

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Undergraduate degree or equivalent relevant work experience required
• 5 years of experience in photo editing
• 3 years of experience in supervisory or managerial positions
