The Role: In a Nutshell

We are looking for an Associate Analytics Manager with a background in customer or business intelligence to help lead the analytics team in supporting our client’s analytics programs which may include marketing, customer service, and ecommerce. Our scope of work spans web analytics, statistical modeling and reporting delivery to create insight and enable the development of hypotheses on what behaviors, social connections, and price sensitivities drive consumer demand. This role will ensure the quality of analytics insight and the efficient delivery of our product. It is a primer role before becoming Analytics Manager. Ideal candidates will have strong organizational and interpersonal skills, a good foundation of analytics experience and a passion for educating people on the meaning of data.

What You Will Do:

  • Train on management tasks under advisement of the Analytics Director at 30%.
  • Management Tasks Include
    • Analytics process adherence
    • Attend weekly sales meeting and brief Director on next steps
    • Estimate the scope of analytics projects
    • Review and advise analysts on their work
    • Manage one client account: be the main point of contact for the client team, both externally and internally. Contribute to the account’s organic growth. Find opportunities to upsell and deepen the relationship.
    • Manage resource allocation predictions worksheets
  • Analyst tasks to be allocated at 70%
    • Analyze and advance the framework of our clients’ measurement strategies to efficiently measure their business, improve outcomes and enable close customer relationships
    • Assist the technology teams with implementation, collection and prioritization of data. Deeply understands the data taxonomies.
    • Design experiments to drive A/B and multivariate testing models that use statistics to predict the outcome of future product changes
    • Create digital reporting capabilities that visualize measurement strategies elegantly and succinctly
    • Assist the business users with interpreting results and understanding business implications
    • Conduct project based research or modeling to dive for deeper understanding of customer cohorts
    • Support all facets of analytics to influence customer behavior (social media, web/mobile analytics, customer loyalty data, dynamic pricing, risk assessment, credit worthiness, etc.)

Trình độ tối thiểu

  • 3+ year experience with strong data and computational focus in the fields of web analytics, customer loyalty, product/merchandise management, social media, behavioral sciences.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, math, economics, science or related degree
  • Intellectual curiosity with willingness and desire to learn a new environment and tools to advance your own knowledge and our analytics practice
  • Exhibit a high level of expertise working with multiple data sources/reports to analyze performance and make recommendations
  • Data savvy with some experience in a mix of the following:
    • Document Databases: NoSQL, Mongo DB with strong SQL experience
    • Statistical Tools: SPSS, SAS, Matlab
    • Data Visualization Tools: Tableau, Qlikview, Domo, Excel
    • Social Media Listening Tools: CrimsonHexagon, Senti, Isentia
    • Web/Mobile Analytics Tools: Google Analytics, Adobe, Tag Manager, Firebase
    • Programming languages: Java, R, Python, Scala
    • Document Databases: NoSQL, Mongo DB with strong SQL experience
    • Big Data Storage Platform & Processing tools: Hadoop, HDF, MapReduce
    • Machine Learning Tools: Knime, RapidMiner, SciPy, NumPy, pandas
    • Data Extraction Tools: ETL, Webscrapers, Flume, Hume
  • Knowledge of statistical methods, regressions, predictive modeling methods
  • Experience in a consulting environment like Deloitte, etc. a plus.
  • Soft Skills Needed for Success:

  • Strong communication in English and Tagalog, (verbal/written/presentation), and listening skills who can present complex information in a clear and compelling manner.
  • Exhibit effective time management and organizational skills. Billable time experience a plus.
  • Comfortable in very fast-paced environment with strong bias towards action to achieve results
  • High growth companies and/or start-up experience a plus
