Horticulturist - Horticulture Technologist (Store Staff)

We are looking for someone who can be our in-house Garden Center Technologist who can help us:

• Propagate plants
• Take care of the plants in the store and organize them according to their needs
• Provide technical expertise in terms of plant care
• Answer technical questions of our customers
• Train our sales staff in technical matters
• Interpret fertilizer / potting medium test results
• Assist in bringing in new products that garden enthusiasts are looking for
• Write training and procedure manuals
• Assists customer in generating store sales

• Graduate of:
  • BS Agriculture (General, Crop Science, Crop Protection, Agronomy, Entomology, Horticulture, Plant Pathology, Soil Science, Agricultural Economics, Agricultural Systems, Agricultural Chemistry)
  • BS Agri-Extension Education
  • BS Agribusiness
  • BS Agribusiness Economics
  • BS Agricultural Engineering
  • BS Agricultural Entrepreneurship
  • Bachelor of Agricultural Technology
  • BS Environmental Science
  • BS Forestry
  • BS Industrial Engineering
  • Bachelor of Industrial Technology
• If you are not a graduate of any of the above courses but you have the technical know-how because of passion or self-studies or informal trainings, please feel welcome to apply.

• Excellent communication skills both in written and oral forms.
