- Defining and maintaining development practices and standards that let us move fast with quality.
- Creating shared libraries to accelerate development.
- Developing training programs to educate teams on building high performance distributed services.
- Evaluating tools and technologies that we can use to improve productivity, performance, and overall quality of our product.
- Working with engineering leads to design and implement scalable, resilient system architectures.
- Collaborating with other team members to craft quality technical solutions.
- Spearheading innovation and transformation projects within the tech organisation.
Trình độ tối thiểu
- BS or MS in Computer Science or related technical discipline
- 5+ years of combined experience in engineering management, system architecture, programming, and software design
- Extensive experience with the Java programming language and related tools and frameworks
- Strong organisational, planning, and communication skills and the ability to present complex technical information in a clear and concise manner to team members and management
- Experience designing and developing scalable, high performance distributed systems a plus (REST/microservices/Java/Spring)
- Experience with cloud computing platforms such as Amazon AWS
- Exposure to DevOps: continuous integration, automated testing, cloud deployments, etc.
- Experience with scaling databases and/or using NOSQL databases a plus
