Business Development Associate - Retail  

Auro Chocolate is looking for a driven Business Development Executive who can make Auro Chocolate one of the leading brands in the market. The Sales Associate is responsible for developing, implementing and managing strategies to achieve company sales targets, handling retail clients.

These responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

• Develop and monitor sales targets
• Maintain a database of all customers for a timely, clear and concise understanding
• Identify potential customers and set approach strategies
• Resolve issues and handle customer complaints quickly and effectively
• Negotiate agreements to meet or exceed sales objectives
• Support and participate in Auro's presence at local and international tradeshows and conferences
• Assist the marketing team in the organization and execution of events and product launches
• Coordinate shipping schedules and timely delivery of goods

• 2+ years of professional experience in Food Service Sales
• Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field
• Knowledge in Retail Management is a plus
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Highly organized: able to maintain accurate and consistent documents/records
• Strong written and verbal communication, effective organization, ability to work independently and collaboratively, basic knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
• Ability and willingness to travel domestically and/or internationally
• Must be passionate about chocolate
