Software Engineer | Scrum Master Developer  

About the Role

• You will work tasks related to improving Oqulo’s infrastructure planning and development.
• You will work on tasks related to estimating, prioritizing, planning and coordinating project timelines.
• You will work with product managers and team leads on ERD planning and creation.
• You will review product requirements, specifications and design documents and provide accurate feedback to ensure that each software can be coded in a testable and supportable manner.
• You will complete a minimum set of task points per sprint.
• You will be asked to spearhead the completion of epic tasks.
• You will resolve or contribute to the resolution of escalated and high-priority tasks.
• You will setup and debug dev environments.
• You will work closely with the Quality Assurance teams and product managers to create testing strategies and plans.
• You stay up-to-date with new development tools, methods and languages.
• You will help optimize the software testing process and procedures to make them more efficient.
• You will lead/participate in scrum sessions.
• You will do tasks related to documentation on Confluence or similar tools.
• You will contribute to the improvement of the company’s coding standards.
• You will work closely with the QA team and product managers when it comes to product release activities such as KB articles, product documentation and release notes.
• You will assist the product managers and project stakeholders on special tasks, as needed.

About You

• Scrum Master Certification, or equivalent.
• Full-stack developer with solid experience in a software development role.
• Proficiency in Agile methodologies.
• Intermediate to Expert knowledge in PHP and JavaScript frameworks, especially: Laravel, Angular, React, Vue JS, Node JS, Express JS.
• Expert in working with databases, especially: MongoDB, PostgreSQL, MySQL.
• Able to collaborate with internal and external parties including Dev Teams, Product Managers, SREs and other Project Stakeholders.
• Can positively adapt to project changes and multitasking.
