Astra International established PT Raharja Sedaya, its first move into the Financial Services Business in 1982 and the purchase of majority share of PT. Maskapai Asuransi Astra Buana which established in 1956. Nowadays, Astra Financial is consisted of 11 entities: Banking; PermataBank, Financing; Astra Credit Companies, Federal International Finance, Toyota Astra Finance, Surya Artha Nusantara Finance, Komatsu Astra Finance, GeneraI Insurance; Asuransi Astra, Life Insurance; Astra Life, Venture capital; Astra Ventura, Financial technology company; Astra Welab Digital Artha and Pension fund; Dana Pensiun Astra. By the end of June 2018, Astra Financial has total asset IDR 284 Trillion, supported by 32.534 employees and 2.344 total networks across archipelago.
