Safety Specialist  

The Safety Specialist is primarily responsible for the inspection of facilities and work areas to identify and remove or cause to remove hazards that pose risk to people and properties. The position is also responsible in ensuring compliance with applicable occupational safety rules and standards pertaining to safety and sanitation.

Other Responsibilites:

• Conduct Safety Inspection of facilities and work areas to identify hazards that would pose risk to people and properties and cause to remove the hazards to prevent accidents
• Conduct monitoring of Safety equipment and Fire prevention equipment by performing tests to comply with regulations and to apply appropriate actions.

• Implement the use of PPEs by ensuring that all workers wear the appropriate PPEs for a specific job to prevent accidents

• Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's/College Degree in Engineering (Environmental/Health/Safety) or equivalent.
• At least 2 Year(s) of working experience in the Environmental/Health/Safety field or equivalent.
• Required Skill(s): Good Interpersonal Skills, Good Communication Skills, Knowledge on Safety Management, knowledge on Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment and Control, Good networking and influencing skills.
• Proficient in MS Application (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
• Applicants must be willing to work in Tiwi, Albay
• Required language(s): English, Filipino
