Account Director  

• Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer of Mobext, the Account Director has full responsibility of a portfolio of clients and a team consisting of account managers and account executives.
• Responsible for the competitiveness of the team/scope. oMnitors its performance and provides continuously optimization to upgrade added value services to its clients.
• The Account Director works with clients. Is involved in the client’s digital creative and media trading strategy. Develop a strong relationship with Senior Managers on the client side and also has contact with other external parties.
• As the senior point of contact for the agency’s accounts, the Account Director coordinates the resources needed to service projects, builds strategic operational plans and balances the expectations of clients with the execution of digital media campaigns. Liaise with the Management and contributes to the definition and evolution of the products & services offer provided to the client.
• A team player fostering team commitment and have an outstanding communication capability and business acumen.

Responsibilities

• Client portfolio leadership
• Manage and influence senior-level client contacts and maintain positive working relationships on a day-to-day basis
• Advise on all aspects of the campaigns and their deployment to achieve clients business objectives
• Thoroughly understand the fundamentals of the client’s business
• Lead coordination work with client and internal teams during pitches
• Liaise with the Chief Operating Officer to define the negotiations’ strategy

Targets & performance

• Contribute to the definition of strategic recommendations for clients
• Analyze, control and optimize the relevancy and performance of the service (Client’s KPIs)
• Monitor the digital media investments per client in cooperation with FO teams and Finance
• Ensures the delivery of account portfolio revenue target by the end of the year
• Define and monitor the targets and productivity of the team
• Make sure you provide the utmost level of client service

Team management

• Coach and lead your team

• Foster change management to improve performances (tools, best practices, methodologies, etc.)

• Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university; in Marketing, Communications or related fields
• 5+ years of experience in account management preferably from digital advertising agencies
• Very good knowledge of digital advertising landscape
• Excellent knowledge of the digital media and advertising landscape (ad networks, international/local publishers, other third parties, technical aspects)
• Effective team management capabilities and strong leadership skills
• Strong social and interpersonal skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
• Significant experience in professional client relationship management
• Demonstrate profitable growth of client accounts through wide-ranging account management skills
