The Video Monetization Head will be responsible for developing strategies and overseeing day-to-day tactical operations for ABS-CBN’s owned and operated digital properties across social media platforms such as YouTube, Facebook, etc. The position works closely with the heads of different ABS-CBN lines of businesses to cascade and helps implement agreed on strategies to help grow their respective Channels/Pages.
MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop platform-specific strategies for growing the ABS-CBN’s owned and operated channels on YouTube, Facebook and other identified platforms that offer monetization opportunities.
- Manage a team of video platform specialists to support ABS-CBN lines of businesses in growing their channels/pages.
- Oversee day-to-day content publishing operations to optimize videos/posts on ABS-CBN social media properties.
- Work with ABS-CBN content groups to develop audience growth strategies for their respective social media video channels/pages.
- Serve as the main point of contact in ABS-CBN for our platform partners from YouTube, Facebook and other video monetization platforms.
- Provide regular channel metrics, analytics reports to the different channel/page owners.
COMPETENCIES
- Excellent skill in developing audience growth strategies for social media platforms.
- Deep understanding of current content trends and an ability to evaluate their relevance for the organization.
- Experience in managing large scale YouTube channels and Facebook pages.
- Working knowledge of digital ad concepts such as auction ads, reserved ads, programmatic buying and various social media ad formats.
- Deep understanding of digital rights management and copyright concepts.
- Able to lead digital vision and champion execution.
- Should have led various digital teams that include content teams.
- Excellent knowledge of digital frameworks relevant to the business objectives.
- Strong communication both written and verbal
- Have a pulse on what’s trending in the world, and the ability to use that knowledge to influence content decisions
Trình độ tối thiểu
Education:
Graduate of Mass Communication, Journalism, Advertising, Marketing or other relevant field or equivalent education and experience.
Skills:
- Understanding of digital platforms and their respective models & disciplines (video, mobile, social, tablet); excellent copywriting, editing and proofreading skills; exceptional attention to detail; must have a background in web content and the ability to write concisely and effectively to create web experiences that are compelling, informative and user-friendly; project management skills, with ability to organize and execute multiple projects under tight deadlines
- Experience with YouTube CMS, YouTube management platforms, Digital Asset Management systems, video player platforms.
Experience:
3 - 5 years demonstrated experience in digital video and YouTube platform.
