Administrative Assistant  

There are admin tasks and research tasks.
Admin tasks
1. Assist the Managing Director in:
a. Planning and coordinating daily work assignments and operations, including client appointments and queries via phone, SMS, and email;
b. Preparing business documents
c. Resolving administrative and operational issues
d. Ensuring compliance with regulations and standards
e. Day-to-day accounting matters
f. Maintaining the company’s online and social media presence and branding
2. Coordinate with research clients and external agencies for project management
3. Assist in organizing workshops and preparing powerpoints or handouts

Research tasks
1. Conduct literature search, data encoding, basic quantitative or qualitative data management, or similar health research tasks
2. Assist in protocol or manuscript preparation; including basic editing and proofreading
3. Work with the research team to ensure quality and efficient data checks and processing are performed

The bottom line:
You will have tasks that are run-of-the-mill (e.g. going to the bank, preparing and scanning BIR forms, preparing Excel forms for encoding), tasks that are more cognitively challenging (assisting in health research, statistics, and data science tasks), and tasks that require design skills (e.g. data visualization, formatting certificates, social media posts, and documents). You will enjoy a quiet workplace.

Please note that this is a full-time regular employment position.

• Graduate of any college course
• Has conducted and completed a research project
• Proficient in MS Word, Powerpoint, Excel
• Committed to public health or healthcare and you LOVE research.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, especially for scientific, medical, and business writing
• Diligent, highly organized and detail-oriented, honest, trainable, reliable, and professional
• Optional: Graphic/art/designing skills
• You can work well with a small team and regularly report to the Makati office Mondays to Fridays at 9:30 am to 6:30 pm.
