As a 51Talk teacher, you will –
• Conduct 30-minute, one-on-one English lessons to Chinese learners online
• Prepare and study the company-provided teaching materials before the lesson starts
• Provide corrective feedback during the lesson
• Create a lesson memo at the end of each lesson
WHAT DO I NEED TO GET STARTED?
No internet? No laptop? No problem! You can join the Center-Based Teachers Program which gives you an opportunity to start earning while preparing for your technical and home office requirements.
A CBT will have access to equipment care of 51Talk for 3 months, after which they should start teaching from home.
Minimum Qualifications
CBT Program applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Bachelor's degree
- English, ESL and/or kids teaching experience is preferred
- Willing to be trained & to teach in Ortigas, Pasig
- A clean, quiet and conducive teaching space that can be readily set up to be a Home Office
- Proof that the intended home office location is covered by a Wired Internet/DSL Provider
- Provide regular 40 hrs of teaching schedule for evening and weekend peak hours (M-F, 7pm-11pm, Sat-Sun, 9am-11pm)
- Good command of the English language
- Pleasing personality, patience and passion to teach
