What the heck is a Visual Designer?

Visual Designers at SlideGenius are responsible for designing interactive microapp experiences and other digital outputs for our clients and our marketing team. They have polished design instincts as well as advanced problem-solving competency. They are experts in user interface design and building effective digital experiences. They are a part of the design process from start to finish, working on the concept of the design as well as its overall production. Some projects require working independently while others involve working within a team. Execution of projects is done under the supervision and guidance of the Art Director of Multimedia, whom Visual Designers also report.

Duties/Responsibilities:

	<li>Translate ideas and concepts into useful and engaging visual solutions</li>
	<li>Apply design expertise and problem-solving capabilities to projects for a wide range of clients across multiple verticals</li>
	<li>Collaborate with a team of designers and project managers to produce dynamic and engaging solutions across a variety of media</li>
	<li>Use your experience and skills to create wireframes and prototypes based on the project description, interpretation, and direction</li>
	<li>QC projects and work to make sure they adhere to the highest level of quality and standards</li>
	<li>Complete projects on time and within budget.</li>
	<li>Update internal time and project management software accurately.</li>
	<li>Collaborate with team members.</li>
	<li>Meet KPI goals.</li>

What kind of projects would I be working on?

Our client base ranges anywhere from mom-and-pop shops to Fortune 500 companies. You will have the opportunity to work on them all and if a designer catches wind of a specific project that they want to be a part of, we make sure that they are involved!

What the heck is a Project Coordinator?

An SG Interactive Project Coordinator is responsible for ensuring positive communication and coordination of SG Interactive projects for the design team through effective project management, strong organizational techniques, and superior communication.

Duties/Responsibilities:

	<li>New project receipt and processing.</li>
	<li>Validate project requests and qualifications.</li>
	<li>Initial project setup (Canvas).</li>
	<li>Communicate with the Project Manager when the project is validated.</li>
	<li>Follow Project Management direction and support for needed tasks.</li>
	<li>Maintain open communication/dialogue with your team members.</li>
	<li>Follow the daily tasks and be on top of emails, calls, and timelines.</li>
	<li>Follow the structure and processes of daily tools – Jira, Harvest, Google Suite, Microsoft Suite, Slack, DocuSign.</li>
	<li>Work from the supervisors' feedback.</li>
	<li>Maintain a clean and functional workstation.</li>
	<li>Manage the project set-ups.</li>
	<li>Practice critical thinking and problem-solving.</li>
	<li>Acknowledge updates and announcements.</li>
	<li>Notify superior of time-off requests or emergencies in a timely manner.</li>
	<li>Comply with all company protocols and procedures.</li>
	<li>Notify executive staff of any issues and/or more efficient ways to accomplish tasks, as well as suggest tasks that may complement the current task.</li>
	<li>Proactive in the workplace and implement new processes to increase productivity.</li>
	<li>Prepare work to be processed by the Executive Team.</li>
	<li>Disseminate required information to the team members as instructed.</li>
	<li>Follow Project Management direction and support the needed tasks.</li>
	<li>Responsible for solving client issues and making practical decisions to ensure company and client satisfaction.</li>

What the heck is an Art Director, Multimedia?

Art Directors at SlideGenius are responsible for guiding execution on project requests as well as leading a team of Presentation Designers. They have phenomenal attention to detail and a love for design principles. Their expertise is in design overall, but their experience in designing presentations in PowerPoint is unmatched. They guide not only designers but our clients toward the most ideal output for their use case. The role acts as an interface between project management and the design team, making sure we have everything we need from the client in order to execute their request effectively. Art Directors report to one of our Creative Directors, of whom they rely on for overall client strategy.

Duties/Responsibilities:

	<li>Communicate with clients directly and indirectly as a creative lead.</li>
	<li>Brainstorm, suggest, critique, and demonstrate design and layout concepts that adhere to SlideGenius design standards and client expectations.</li>
	<li>Explain client feedback and edits accurately and completely.</li>
	<li>Comply with the client and/or internal branding guidelines.</li>
	<li>Translate client instructions into design direction.</li>
	<li>Proof and approve deliverables to be sent to clients.</li>
	<li>Assist in discovery tasks such as quotes, calls, conversations, etc…</li>
	<li>Guide and mentor designers.</li>
	<li>Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.</li>
	<li>Update internal time and project management software accurately.</li>
	<li>Collaborate with team members.</li>
	<li>Meet KPI goals.</li>
	<li>Actively participate in daily scrum.</li>
	<li>Monitor project workload, schedule, and status in real-time.</li>
