Mida Food is a direct importer and distributor of frozen seafood products. We vigilantly protect our market share and stock as many as 200 different varieties of seafood. We also ensure a consistent supply to our clients. With offices in the Philippines, Singapore, Vietnam, Jakarta and Surabaya, we are certain to supply products of excellent quality. Our staff has been certified by the Aquaculture Certification Council, the certification arm for Best Agricultural Practices, to certify that facilities such as hatchery, farm and processing plants abide with Best Aquaculture practices. This includes aspects of responsible sustainable aquaculture. We attend industry trade shows and conferences in Asia, Europe and North America; and visit various seafood plants, restaurants and hyper marts in these regions to keep us current. Main Tasks

Bookkeeping and Invoice processing

	<li>Responsible for the bookkeeping and maintenance of accurate records of income, expenses, assets, and liabilities for assigned entities in Höegh LNG Group</li>

Reconciliation and Financial Reporting

Compliance

	<li>Financial reporting compliance involves adhering to various regulations and standards to ensure accuracy, transparency, and consistency in financial statements. Adherence to the global accounting framework governed by IFRS</li>
	<li>Support and ensure compliance with Internal Control over Financial Reporting (ICFR) requirements as defined by the group.</li>

The Junior Accountant is primarily responsible for maintaining and recording day-to-day financial transactions under Loft, which include, but not limited to, A/P, A/R, payroll and tax compliance.

The Junior Accountant will work closely with the General Accountant and Accounting Supervisor. The Person

We are seeking a very smart, exceptionally organized, and business-minded Management Accountant with at least 3 years of commercial experience. It is an advantage if you have knowledge and experience in Australian accounting practice and in Cloud based system / Accounting software such as MYOB, Xero or similar packages. You will report to the Head of Management Accounting Services in our Manila Office. You should be willing to observe Sydney working hours on an in-office and/or work from home arrangement.
