Senior DevOps Engineer  

Zenius Education is the pioneer for Education Technology (EdTech) in Indonesia since 2004, founded by teachers passionate about learning, problem-solving, and establishing strong foundations on scientific thinking. From our early beginnings releasing DVDs, to launching a website in 2010, we developed a strong following for our educational content through our teaching methods.

We have now released our powerful content library of more than 80,000 videos into our mobile app in June 2019, and the company has just received seed funding from investors. We are about to embark on a hyper-growth phase to accelerate learning outcomes for K-12 students in Indonesia.

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to monitor the health and stability of the servers. You are responsible for analyzing production errors to define and create tools that help mitigate problems in the system design stage, also make sure the server is always up and available. The ideal candidate can work with teammates in troubleshooting problems, identifying resolutions, and assessing situations in real-time.

What You Will be Doing

• Proactively ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability
• Monitor software and systems to detect issues before they impact business operations
• Create tools and solutions to manage and monitor our rapidly growing infrastructure and operations
• Build, maintain, and monitor configuration standards

Who Is Our Ideal Candidate

• 3-4 years of experience of DevOps Engineer or experience in a real-time operational processing environment
• Proper certification in AWS (at least Solution Architect Associate level or above)
• Expertise in Shell Scripting
• Proficient of best practices and IT operations in an always-up, always-available service
