Payroll Specialist  

The ideal Payroll Specialist will have a passion or compatibility for research-focused tasks surrounding payroll. To be successful in this role, the candidate will need to be organized and creative, as you will be joining a rapidly growing startup.

• Research and build up a knowledge database of payroll rules and calculations in multiple countries
• Output your payroll research into spreadsheets, following clear and standardized guidelines
• Assist in the setup of new payroll partners, including scouting for leads, scheduling calls, and taking notes
• Standardize and document payroll procedures to scale operations

• Willing to occasionally work in US timezone
• Experience in processing payroll manually in the Philippines and at least 1 international country
• Excellent Excel/Google spreadsheet experience
• Strong understanding of how payroll laws generally work
• Exhibits strong critical thinking and research skills
• Organized, meticulous and has experience writing and following documentation
• Able to work independently with limited supervision
• Strong interpersonal skills, time management, attention to detail, problem solving skills, and strict adherence to deadlines
• Strong work ethic and ability to be productive and successful in a fast-paced work environment
• Fast learner and easy to communicate with
