Fashion Merchandiser & Authenticator  

Tinkerlust is a fashion e-commerce that is committed to providing women the best selection of fashion choices. We’re looking for an energetic individual to join our team. Tinkerlust is currently looking for a Fashion Merchandiser .

As a Merchandiser on the Tinkerlust you would be supporting the team by assisting with owning the inventory and the assortments of products for the website.

The fashion merchandiser will develop the overall merchandising concept for all divisions and work together with the marketing team for a successful market strategy. This role will have full ownership of all Tinkerlust inventory from various supply sources.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Strategic

• Develop good supply strategies to increase sales.
• Co-ordinating online merchandising
• Overseeing supplier relations, Warehousing and Logistics Management for all sources of supply
• Understanding seasonal trends, Inventory forecasting and planning for merchandising analysis
• Ensure product is on the site, in the right place and in timely manner.
• Understand demand analysis to highlight trends for increased turnover.
• Manage trading calendar in line with company business plan BAU’s and projects
• Increase channels of supply and develop further channels of supply.
• Develop new supply sources from personal and business brands

Authentication & QC

• Authenticate pre-owned products from various luxury and fashion brands
• Consistently meet authentication standards based on company guidelines
• Consistently meet authentication KPIs based on company guidelines
• Develop and expand authentication guidelines and standards
• Proactively escalate any issues or trends to the Head Manager

Quality control

• Quality control products from various luxury and fashion brands
• Consistently meet quality control standards based on company guidelines
• Proactively escalate any issues or trends to the Head of Operations

Main KPI

• Increase supply sources
• Understand demand and supply trends through data analysis to support marketing campaigns
• Strong authentication standards for products especially luxury

• Have minimum 2 years of experience as a Merchandiser/Authenticator with within Luxury fashion Retail is essential
• Experience in analyzing sales and budgeting is essential
• Experience in a start-up department is beneficial
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills
• Strong knowledge of and ability to apply retail math concepts
• Background in the fashion industry is beneficial
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Has strong knowledge in luxury fashion and keep up with the current trend
