DevOps Manager  

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Head of Information Systems and Technology (IST) to lead our IST team at ThinkBIT. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the company's technological infrastructure, ensuring that our information systems are not only robust and efficient but also aligned with our strategic goals.

We expect you to:

• Oversee the company's information systems and technology infrastructure, including hardware, software, and networking systems.
• Ensure that systems and processes are efficient, secure, and aligned with the company's goals and objectives.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures for information systems and technology, ensuring compliance with the company's policies.
• Monitor and analyze system performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions to optimize performance.
• Maintain and minimize the cost of infrastructure.
• Leverage new technology to improve cost management.
• Manage and maintain data backups and disaster recovery plans, ensuring business continuity in the event of system failures or other disruptions.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and changes, and make recommendations for new technologies and systems that can improve business operations and efficiency.
• Manage and maintain relationships with vendors and service providers, ensuring that systems and services are cost-effective and of high quality.
• Manage and lead the IS&T team.
• Work closely with other departments to ensure alignment and coordination of business development strategies with overall company objectives.
• Must be willing to report to office at least once a week

Key Qualifications:

• Strong problem-solving skills and a self-starter
• Experience with cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Azure, etc.). Certification is a plus.
• Experience setting up pipelines or deployment through scripts
• Experience setting up web servers (Nginx, Apache) with knowledge of best practice configurations
• Experience working with Linux servers or bash scripting
• Experience with at least one programming language or framework (Laravel, Vue, React, Javascript, etc.)
• Good knowledge of the typical components of a web app and can explain the function of each.
• Understands Git and its concepts such as pull requests, branches, etc.

Plus:

• Experience with deploying and maintaining enterprise-ready applications that adhere to best practices or industry standards such as HIPAA and SOC 2.
• Experience in a management role
