Warehouse Assistant Manager  

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Oversee & manage the whole operations of the warehouse - material & finished goods;
• Supervise the daily operations of the warehouses;
• Keep stock control systems up to date and make sure inventories are accurate;
• Implements, manages and coordinates the inventory activities;
• Maintains standards for health and safety, hygiene and security in the work environment;
• Oversees & ensures schedules for the planned maintenance of vehicles, machinery, and equipment;
• Adheres to all warehousing, handling, and shipping legislation requirements;
• Motivates, organizes and encourages teamwork within the workforce to ensure productivity targets are met or exceeded;
• Implement policies & procedures in compliance with Food Safety;
• Reports any food safety issues, tampering, or possible issues with materials to immediate superior or Management;
• Assist in the conduct of product recalls;
• Performs other duties as maybe assigned from time to time.

• Hands-on experience with warehouse management software and databases;
• With in-depth knowledge on warehousing (management procedures, policies & best practices);
• Preferably with 3-4 years of Warehouse Management experience.
