The Role
As a Strategic Data and Scorecard Analyst, you will be primarily responsible for designing and executing various initiatives to meet the business goals of secured lending / unsecured lending / non-lending products within the bank’s retail business. The position will focus mainly on, but will not be limited to, overseeing scorecards and various models used for acquisition, portfolio management and collections. He/She is expected to take end-to-end ownership, from analyzing vast amounts of data, to translating it into insights, to creating outputs that have a direct impact on the bank’s bottom line. Outputs range from scorecard and model strategies, champion-challenger programs, policy changes, to portfolio reviews.
How you'll contribute
Be the main point person for internal scorecards and models initiatives and requests. This may include: oversight of development and implementation, strategy formulation, access management, monitoring evaluation, and change approvals and implementation
Research, review and recommend external or alternative scorecards suitable to the bank's target market
Work with the Secured Lending Analytics Head to continuously challenge and dream up new underwriting, portfolio management and scorecard strategies by performing rigorous statistical analysis of internal and external data to support of recommended strategies and quantifying the expected P&L effect
Liaise with various business and technical teams to implement scorecards, models and proposed initiatives
Kualifikasi Minimum
What we’re looking for
- 5 - 10 years of experience in Banking and Financial, Actuarial/Statistics
- Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics/Statistics
- Understanding of the Retail Banking Business
- Skilled in data-driven analysis with working knowledge on data analytics tools such as SAS, Pyspark or Python
- Understanding of scorecards and models development and implementation
- With strong analytics skills with focus on pragmatism
- Excellent time management skills
- Able to deliver results across multiple projects in parallel
