Software Quality Assurance Analyst  

The Software QA Analyst is responsible for the quality of Propelrr’s developed applications.

His / Her primary focus will be the following:

• Working with Systems/Business Analyst and Developers to understand the project specifications
• Working with QA Manager to understand the test plan for the project
• Reports to QA Manager.
• Working with Project Team members to ensure on-time and on-quality completion of the test phase
• Commitment to delivering an application that meets user expectations is error-free and is user-friendly

His / Her main responsibilities will be the following:

• Understanding user stories and transforming them into test cases
• Working with project team members to prepare the required test data for test execution
• Execution (manual or automated) of test cases and and analysis of results
• Reporting of found software/application issues and bugs
• Verify the resolved software/application issues and bugs
• Usage of Propelrr’s official project & test management tools

• • Graduate of BS/BA in IT, Computer Science, Engineering or a related field

  • At least 1 year working experience as a QA tester or a similar role

  • Thorough knowledge of methodologies of quality assurance and standards

  • Working knowledge on test management software, Agile frameworks and regression testing

  • Certification of quality control is a strong advantage (ISO 9000 etc.)

  • Basic knowledge in programming languages, database concepts, and APIs is an advantage
