Business Development Specialist | Interior Design and Fit-out  

Outboxed Solutions Inc. (OSI) is a fast-growing, Valenzuela-based, design and fabrication company that imagines, creates, and sells modern home furniture and office systems. We are looking at hiring salespeople who can build relationships with contractors, and architectural and interior design firms. More specifically, we are interested in hiring designers who have sales experience and/or salespeople who’ve grown in the fit-out and furniture industry.

Is the role right for you?
You will be selling kitchen cabinets, solid wood floor panels, interior wall-cladding systems, doors, and office furniture and cabinetry. Your customer base will be architectural and interior design firms as well as contractors. Your main job will be to generate leads, prospect and qualify clients, build relationships by focusing on solving clients’ problems, and closing deals. As such, you will need a wide network of contacts among contractors and specifiers.

Are you right for the role?
You should have experience in project-based solution sales with a demonstrated history of achieving targets consistently. You would ideally have sold fit-out solutions including, cabinetry, flooring, fittings, and interiors.
If you are an experienced field salesperson with a solid directory of contacts in the design and construction industry, you are very welcome to apply. If you have spent 5+ years in a project management position in a furniture and cabinetry business, this might be an excellent career pivot for you. If you have a degree in architecture, industrial design, or interior design, and are looking at a career in sales, then you might want to try out for this job.

What will my sales targets look like?
Suitable candidates will be responsible for building their own portfolio of clients for our walls, floors, and doors business. The right candidate will be driving revenues of at least P2 million monthly from client contracts, with an annual revenue target of P24 million, on their first year.

What kind of support can I expect?
On a day-to-day basis, our sales team is supported by talented space planners and an experienced costing team. Over the medium and long term, you will be supported by an industrial design team that develops products according to customers’ needs.

How about the package?
Our basic salary band for this position is from P30,000 to P40,000 a month. This is a full-time position. Upon regularization, benefits include

• A Bachelor's Degree in a design-related course will offer advantages
• 5+ years of experience in furniture and project selling with a technical background in furniture and cabinetry
