Deskripsi Pekerjaan

  • Record financial transactions and complete the posting process to Xero and other cloud-based bookkeeping systems
  • Review account codes and re-coding of transactions
  • Process purchase and sales invoices
  • Process and upload payment into the banking system and liaise with MD to ensure all payments are made in an accurate and timely manner
  • Be the first point of contact for customers and suppliers and resolve any queries
  • Reconcile bank transactions, general ledger accounts, and other accounts
  • Updating the 12-months rolling cash flow reports
  • Review and balance of Balance Sheet and P&L account codes
  • Encode and post journal entries for accounts payable and accounts receivable
  • Reconciliation of inter-company loan accounts
  • Reconcile the report generated from the operating system and Xero
  • Prepare monthly financial reports
  • Prepare drafts of Business Activity Statements (BAS) and Instalment Activity Statements (IAS) for review by the CFO
  • Process payroll including payroll file payment and bank uploads
  • Process expense claims and reimbursements
  • Reconcile payroll and superannuation accounts
  • Assist with month-end accounting process including Accounts Payable and Receivable journals
  • Prepare payroll tax returns (monthly) and reconciliation on an annual basis
  • Maintain the group structure chart
  • Ensure all the files/correspondences are filed correctly in the Cloud-based document management system
  • Assist with audit and other compliance tasks
  • Provide clerical and administrative support to management as requested
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing other tasks as requested by the client and/or management

Clear Admin People is seeking an outstanding Bookkeeper to join our specialist team of bookkeepers working for Australian clients from a range of industries.

Role and Opportunity

The Bookkeeper’s role is to provide outstanding bookkeeping services to help our client, a Victoria-based private investment group, assist their clients with their financial affairs and compliance.

Kualifikasi Minimum

  • At least 2 years of experience handling Australian accounts with a focus on both Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or equivalent
  • Minimum 3 years of total accounting-related work experience
  • Working knowledge of Apparel 21 and Xero Accounting systems
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Teams, etc.)

  • Excellent English proficiency (verbal and written) with a proactive mindset
  • Confident, having a positive personality that promotes a “can do” attitude
  • A high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and autonomously
  • Flexibility to perform relevant admin tasks as required by the clients
  • Fit to work status upon completion of Pre-Employment Medical Exam with drug test and valid NBI Clearance

The Bookkeeper will report directly to the CFO and work closely with the Managing Directors of each entity. This is to ensure the finance and accounting function of all group entities are adequately supported. The Bookkeeper is required to:

  • Record financial transactions in the clients’ bookkeeping systems
  • Assist the CFO and Directors in producing financial and management reports
  • Accountable for all AP and AR
  • Process financial documents as needed by the client
  • Liaise with stakeholders to deliver desired results
