Software Project Manager | Jira and Agile | Philippines  

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Software Project Manager based in the Philippines to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading a team of developers and ensuring the successful delivery of software projects. The role requires expertise in Jira and Agile methodologies to drive efficient and effective project delivery. The candidate should be willing to work flexible hours, including night calls and planning meetings, to accommodate our global team.

Key Responsibilities:
• Plan, coordinate and oversee project activities from start to finish

• Manage project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation

• Work closely with stakeholders to understand their requirements and ensure project goals are aligned

• Facilitate communication between team members, including developers, designers, and product owners

• Use Jira to manage project tasks, create workflows, and track progress

• Utilize Agile methodology to drive development processes and ensure project milestones are achieved

• Ensure that project deliverables meet quality standards and are completed on time

• Proactively identify and mitigate project risks

• Conduct project post-mortems to identify areas for improvement

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field

• 5+ years of experience in software project management

• Proven experience with Jira and Agile methodologies

• Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills

• Experience managing teams of developers, designers, and product owners

• Ability to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously

• Understanding of software development lifecycle and best practices

• Ability to work independently and in a team environment

• Strong problem-solving skills

• Willingness to work flexible hours, including night calls and planning meetings, to accommodate our global team
