Deskripsi Pekerjaan
The Legal Officer is responsible for assisting the Head of Legal in managing the legal affairs of the ATRAM Group and ensuring that the ATRAM Group operates within the law. This includes providing legal advice and guidance to the ATRAM Group’s management and various business units, managing the ATRAM Group’s legal risks, and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations..
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Providing legal advice and guidance to the ATRAM Group’s management and various business units on a wide range of legal matters, including corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and risk management.
- Providing regular updates on legal and compliance matters to management and the different business units of the ATRAM entities.
- Assisting in the development and implementation of legal policies and procedures to ensure that the ATRAM Group operates within the law and in compliance with relevant regulations.
- Managing the ATRAM Group’s legal risks and ensuring that the ATRAM Group’s operations and activities are in compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Supporting the ATRAM Group’s legal affairs, including managing and monitoring litigation and disputes, negotiating and drafting contracts, and providing legal support in the ATRAM Group’s business operations.
- Reviewing ATRAM Group contracts, agreements, documents and materials to ensure mitigation of legal risks.
- Preparation and monitoring of various applications, reports, license registrations and renewals to the Securities and Exchange Commission.
- Conducting appropriate trainings/seminars/briefings to ATRAM Group personnel on compliance and legal risk requirements to ensure compliance culture.
- Building and managing relationships with external legal advisors and regulators.
- Keeping up to date with changes in relevant laws and regulations and ensuring that the ATRAM Group’s policies and procedures are updated accordingly.
- Other tasks as may be delegated from time to time.
Kualifikasi Minimum
- Philippine Bar-passer
- At least two (2) years of experience
- A strong legal background, with experience in the asset management industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to work effectively with senior management and the board of directors.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- The ability to manage complex legal issues in a fast-paced environment.
