Database (SQL) Developer  

• Determining what data must be returned to the application and writing queries for it
• Optimizing any existing queries to speed up performance
• Creating and designing tables when modules are added to a software product
• Reviewing current database design and making suggestions for better performance
• Creating table indexes that optimize query speeds
• Determining the right stored procedures, views, and functions for the application
• Help write and optimize in application SQL statements
• Ensure performance, security and availability of database
• Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders
• Ensure the data quality and integrity in database
• Develop best practices for database design and development activities

The Required Profile:

• Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
• At least 3 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Strong proficiency with SQL and its variation among popular database (specifically : Microsoft SQL server)
• Experience with some of the modern relational database
• Skilled at optimizing large complicated SQL statements
• Knowledge of best practice when dealing with relational databases
• Capable of troubleshooting common database issues
• Familiar with tools that can aid with profiling server resource usage and optimizing it
