- Can work with the team to improve the overall performance, stability and effectiveness of cloud database systems
- Influence the design and architecture of the software stack, including implementation of SOA architecture.
- Perform coding to written technical specifications
- Investigate, analyse and document reported bugs
- Perform maintenance development and correction of identified bugs
- Promote quality standards and processes and work with developers to achieve these through regular code reviews
Minimum Qualifications
Requirements:
- Experience with Java technologies (Grails/Groovy in particular)
- Strong experience with relational databases (Oracle in particular)
- Strong experience using JavaScript-based front-end technologies (jQuery, Angular)
- Experience using RESTful design patterns w/ JSON
- Knowledge of CSS, HTML5
- Experience with AWS (EC2, RDS, S3, Elastic Beanstalk) very helpful
Nice to have:
- Familiarity with Node.js
- Familiarity with NOSQL databases (MongoDB, Redis, etc)
- Familiarity with Bootstrap
- Mobile development experience (IOS or Android)
- CI (Jenkins)
- Software testing methodologies
- It’s a bonus if you have SalesForce experience
