Job Description

The Inventory Controller is responsible on all inventory related functions by conducting LAP and other ZP initiated inventory and Vendor counts to ensure system and location inventory accuracy at all times, aligned to the company mission, vision and core values to ensure achievement of customer fulfillment and service objectives of the company and in compliance with ISO 9001:2008, RQA on Good Storage and Distribution Practices, RQA on Good Distribution Practices for Medical Devices and Diagnostics, and other Regional Guidelines.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Inventory Control

  • Initiates system adjustments (RTP, GR, STO and inventory adjustment) by validating error committed through actual checking of stocks, cancellation of request and or discrepancy report to correct system entry.
  • Acts on noted discrepancy reports for Stock Transfer Order (STO) by actual checking of affected stocks to correct and update system inventory and seek immediate disposition for affected products.
  • Prepares and conducts physical inventory activities (wall to wall and Client count) and other activities initiated by Management to ensure inventory and location accuracy.
  • Reconciles different analyzer discovered during inventory count by conducting reconciliation through documents validation, stock movement and actual checking of affected stocks.
  • Maintains close coordination with SCM, Clients and warehouses on stocks status through constant communication to ensure open issues/concerns are acted upon on a timely manner.
  • Acts on request for Posting Change from SCM, Clients or other departments by preparing request indicating item code, description, expiry date/serial lot and quantity to initiate transfer of stocks from F2 to B6/B4 or Q2/Q4 to B6/B4.
  • Ensures that stock take procedures and guidelines are properly observed by following cut-off schedules agreed by IMG, SCM & the warehouse to avoid hanging balances prior to count proper.
  • Checks direct receipts and change grade documents by comparing GR & Posting Change requests versus generated reports to validate system accuracy.
  • Conducts daily Location Accuracy Program (LAP) count by selecting stock locations to be counted.
  • Generates Stock Disposition Reports on a monthly basis by getting all expiring products and drop in the inventory stocks based on Client returns policy.
  • Monitors and acts on expired stocks by dropping expired stocks in the system for transfer to ZP-Whse Tunasan to ensure compliance with GMP & GSDP.
  • Prepares monthly Location Accuracy Report by collating all required data to ensure accurate reporting on a timely manner.

Quality and Compliance

  • Ensures proper planning and allocation of specific activities to carry out office procedures and activities based on ISO 9001 current version and in compliance with Regional QA Standards.
  • Adheres to company rules and regulations at work at all times.
  • Ensures that all activities are performed in accordance with the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) as indicated in the Quality Manual.
  • Deployed as Quality Assurance and Quality Control personnel for products and process quality.

Administrative Functions

  • Observes company rules and regulations, procedures and guidelines at all times.
  • Observes proper housekeeping and good warehousing practices to comply with GSDP.
  • Performs other duties that will be assigned by Warehouse Manager.

Minimum Qualifications

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • College Graduate;preferably Business Administration graduate or any related course
  • Experience related on warehouse operations, warehouse inventory, supply chain management, logistics
  • With SAP Knowledge
  • Good oral & written communication skills
