Job Description
- Documenting the types and structure of the business data
- Using statistical methods to analyze and mine business data and be able to generate useful business reports
- Organizes data in spreadsheets and other document types and demonstrates results of the analysis in this documentation.
Minimum Qualifications
- 3-5 years experience working with SQL, Redshift, Python and Tableau
- Exposure and experience with a data visualization tool (eg. PowerBI, Tableau)
- Experience with machine learning software (preferably Azure)
- Experience in an analytical, reporting, or ‘insights’ type role.
- BA in Math, Stats, Data Science, or Computer Sciences. Or equivalent.
- Strong solid analytical, planning, and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication; you must be able to ask questions to solve problems, and convey results in meaningful and understandable formats.
- Has the ability to focus on a specific data set for multiple hours at one time
- Ability to validate and interpret large complex data sources
- Advanced Excel skills including Pivot tables, dynamically named ranges, index-match, and visualization
- Strong analytical ability, involving conducting in-depth data analysis and creating insightful reports
- Digital experience using analytics software to gain insights
- Experience in designing, compiling and updating data reports
- Comfortable working on multiple projects and multiple data sources concurrently
- Understanding of data collection and storage practices, knowledge in HTML, JavaScript
- Fluent in English

Tools
- Experience in Data Visualization tools such as Tableau or Google Data Studio
- SQL incl. querying, table
- Advanced Excel skills
- Daily use of analytical platforms such as Segment, Mixpanel or Google Analytics
- Experience in BI tools or software products for manipulating and reporting data
- Cloud-based database experience (Big Query or Amazon Redshift), also Python scripting capabilities
Experience
- Business Intelligence, using things like SAP, Oracle.
- What this is: they should familiar with “pulling” data, “rearranging” data, presenting data.
- Preferably experience with data architecture, or data cleansing/manipulation (e.g. using Python), that is a very huge plus!
