Job Description
- Expert knowledge in building on a Microsoft stack (C#, Web API, EF, and SQL Server)
- Exposure in AngularJS
- Strong HTML, CSS, and JavaScript skills
- Solid Experience with CSS tools such as LESS, and frameworks like Bootstrap- Cloud experience will be highly regarded - ideally experience with Azure- Experience with Git for source control is essential (we use GitHub)- Experience with automated testing
- DevOps experience with Azure will be very highly regarded
If you can provide side projects that you are working on (or have worked on), open-source projects you have created or contributed to, community groups you have spoken to or run, then these will be very highly regarded.
Minimum Qualifications
- 5+ years hands-on software development experience
- Excellent communication (English) and interpersonal skills
- Ability to create aesthetically-appealing web user interfaces; having a good eye for design and detail will be highly regarded.
- User experience-focused
- Ability to operate autonomously with high-level direction. Independently solve complex problems, assist the team with troubleshooting issues and bugs.
- Strong analytical skills: Ability to collect, organize, and analyze data; summarize findings and develop conclusions and recommendations.
- Willing to follow coding standards, design patterns, and create aesthetically pleasing, maintainable, readable code.
- Understands security risks, and can write secure codes
- Ability to implement long term solutions rather than short term hacks
- Experience in writing quality codes with an understanding that testing your code is vital (unit, integration, functional).
- Excels in collaborative environment
- Any logistics experience will be highly regarded, but not essential
