Operations Specialist  

About the Role

We're looking to hire a passionate team-player to join the core Operations team in (City) to help drive user growth and efficiencies within the zennya business. This position is based in (City), working closely with the local team as well as with other SEA and global functional teams. This individual is responsible for owning and driving forward high impact projects that will contribute to the rapid growth of our customer base in (City), as well as find efficiencies in our user funnel and marketing spend.

The right candidate will be analytical, business savvy, able to make data-driven decisions, be skilled in project and stakeholder management, and also be innovative in developing growth strategies for the business. This is the ideal role for someone who has experience in leading cost-effective user growth initiatives, has a deep passion for scaling up a mass consumer business, and is looking to make an impact in one of the fastest growing tech companies in Asia but around the world.

What You'll Do

• Develop & Optimize Processes - Scale new and existing processes to allow the business to efficiently operate and realize growth; analyze the business to track and improve metrics and profitability
• Analysis of customer metrics to find growth and efficiency opportunities - new growth levers, understanding and optimizing our user funnel, spend efficiency, etc
• Own our user messaging and brand image in the (City) market together with our policy and comms teams
• Build, maintain, and communicate analysis to advise leadership on strategic business decision making. You'll be a key thought partner to the Ops Manager in (City)
• Maintain a pulse on the industry landscape to constantly assess threats and opportunities, and document and communicate market intelligence
• Manage and execute on high priority, needle-moving initiatives, and projects in (City)
• Actively identify opportunities and areas for optimization, and innovate new processes to keep our local teams as efficient as possible
• Engage with regional and cross-functional team members to surface and implement best practices, actively maintaining communications with a broad stakeholder base

• 2 years of working experience, preferably in a high-growth and highly-dynamic environment. Experience in a marketing or customer growth oriented role a plus. Fresh graduates from top universities can apply
• Strong analytical ability: Evidence of effective modeling to facilitate decisions; ability to draw key insights from analysis
• Creative mindset: Innovative problem solver who is not afraid of creating and implementing new market strategies that help with rapid scaling and growth
• End-to-end process ownership: Understands what a robust process looks like and can build, iterate and automate the process in a scalable and efficient way
• Bias towards action. This is one of the key roles that determine whether initiatives get acted on and have an impact, or fall behind in the "idea dustbin"
• Effective collaboration and communication: Stellar relationship building skills and the ability to collaborate across functions and levels, from communication to execution
• Pursues perfection without compromising on execution: Someone who is fastidious about making sure we get the answer right. Even with a robust, detailed and effective process, it still executes at a reliable pace. Excited to tackle large, complex initiatives that may move slowly because of high risk and/or multiple stakeholders
• Grit. You never hesitate to roll up your sleeves and seek something hands-on, you persevere when others fall away
• Graduate from a top university: Engineering and Marketing preferable.
• Top-level of English is a must.
• Writing skills to build documents and communicate efficiently with Devs.
• Data-driven mindset. Able to run reports (csv files).
• SQL knowledge is a plus.
• Experience building tech documentation.
• Agile cultural background is recommended.
