Zenius Education is the pioneer for Education Technology (EdTech) in Indonesia since 2004, founded by teachers passionate about learning, problem-solving, and establishing strong foundations on scientific thinking. From our early beginnings releasing DVDs, to launching a website in 2010, we developed a strong following for our educational content through our teaching methods.
We have now released our powerful content library of more than 80,000 videos into our mobile app in June 2019, and the company has just received seed funding from investors. We are about to embark on a hyper-growth phase to accelerate learning outcomes for K-12 students in Indonesia.
We are looking for a Senior Back-End Developer to builds and maintains the technology needed to power the components which enable the user-facing side of the website & web application to existing. You responsible for creating, maintaining, testing, and debugging the ‘server-side’ of our website & web application.
What You Will be Doing
- Design and prototype new services and applications, also build back-end frameworks that are maintainable, flexible and scalable.
- Compile and analyze data, processes, and codes to troubleshoot problems, and able to identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with Front-End Developer and other IT teams to create goals and functional design, also cohesive codes to improve user experience.
Minimum Qualifications
- A minimum of 6 years professional experience as a Back-End Developer
- Solid experience with Web API, MongoDB, and Node.js
- Proficient knowledge of a back-end programming language (Python, Ruby, PHP, Java, .NET)
- Expertise in best practices, design patterns, architecture, data modeling, security best practices, and authentication protocols
