Regional Tax Accountant

ZEN Rooms, the game-changer startup in the hospitality industry, is searching for a Tax Accountant to ensure the compliance of the company to its regulations and submission

Responsibilities:

• Support the overall management and maintenance of the company’s tax database (Monthly tax deadlines and forms, Official Receipts, Invoices, etc.)
• Ensure the company's compliance with all applicable government regulations.
• Support the Tax Manager in creating internal tax audit plans and reports on a daily basis.
• Prepares accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual schedules for preparation of tax returns.
• Evaluate tax regulations and suggest policies.
• Keep track of industry trends and changes related to taxes.

We are looking for a candidate with a background of:

• Preferably a Certified Public Accountant
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Tax Accountant or similar role.
• Has experience in preparation of BIR forms;1601C, 0619E, VAT, Income Tax Returns, Certificate of 2307, Alphalists, and other tax-related schedules.
• Preferably with experience in processing business permits and licenses, BIR, and SEC matters.

With a mindset and attitude of:

• Very meticulous person; detailed & deadline-oriented
• Able to work independently without the need for supervision

Along with the skills and knowledge of:

• Good understanding of Philippine Taxation.
• Good understanding of Google Sheets and Forms
• In-depth knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping processes.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills
