Key Responsibilities:
- Guide and support your team through the development process
- Design and own full life cycle delivery of cross-functional projects and automated solutions
- Be part of the decision-making process, proactively deconstruct and analyze technical requirements
- Adapt and share conventions and best-practices
- Coach and mentor our high-performing engineers to help them grow their skills, enhance their knowledge of our systems and their ability to get things done
- Find balance and compromises between “yes” and “no”
- Drive the evolution of architecture and process
- Actively track progress across multiple streams and create transparency and visibility
- Ensure reliability: test, monitor and add resilience
- Engage and align top talent through strong recruitment, mentoring, hands-on architectural leadership and career management
- Supporting company growth by facilitating software scaling.
Minimum Qualifications
- At least 10+ years of experience in Software Engineering, preferably in startup and web industry.
- You have a refined understanding of software and programming fundamentals regardless of language/framework
- You are self-motivated and strive to find pragmatic, incremental paths to success, even when faced with big challenges
- Experience leading software Developers, DevOps and QA teams in an Agile environment across multiple and geographically distributed teams.
- Excellent communication skills in English, spoken and written
