Job Description
- Monitoring and operating lathe machines to cut metal and plastic parts for the manufacturing industry
- Calculate the amount of material to be fed into the machine, and make adjustments to the operating speed based on vibrations and sounds that may indicate a malfunction
- Inspects the fabricated part to make sure that it matches specifications
- Cleaning and maintaining equipment, and often operate multiple machines
Minimum Qualifications
- At least highschool graduate, Vocational Graduate or its equivalent
- Experience in operating and troubleshooting / overhauling of industrial machines
- Strong analytical and planning skills
- Good communication and presentation skills
- Excellent problem-solving skills
