Job Description
- Monitor your customers’ accounts by maintaining spreadsheets and files and tracking the status of invoices.
- Review FOCUS documentation for coding accuracy to ensure proper billing.
- Provide direction and training to staff on coding issues.
- Assist and monitor staff credentialing enrollment(s) related to billing.
- Compile requested revenue projections.
- Process refunds and analyze the source of rejections and adjustments.
- Review ability-to-pay documentation and calculation and provide staff training accordingly.
- Respond to billing-related audit requests.
- Complete cost analysis as requested.
- Develop procedures with regard to cost-saving measures.
- Attend meetings and conferences as requested.
Minimum Qualifications
- A Bachelor Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a directly related filed from an accredited college or university.
- Preferrably has a minimum of 1 year administrative experience in an office environment
- Knowledge of billing practices and requirements
- Knowledge of financial information on patient resources.
- Effective written and verbal communication.
- Strong analytical and planning skills;
- Good communication and presentation skills;
- Excellent problem-solving skills;
