Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Accountant to provide business services support to our biggest Australian Accounting Firm client. Based in Davao City but working closely with the Australian Practice Manager, you will need to have a great work ethic and proactive attitude. In turn, we promote work-life balance in a collaborative and fun environment and provide our staff with training and development. You will be working with Australian clients and using the latest Cloud technologies to deliver our services. Your salary will be commensurate with your experience level and adaptability to our work requirements.

You will be responsible for the:

Preparation of financial statements
Preparation of tax returns for various entity types
Preparation of Activity Statements

Minimum Qualifications

CPA with 2 years minimum Australian business services experience
Ability to prepare financial statements for Australian companies to review stage with minimal supervision
Ability to prepare tax returns for Australian companies to review stage with minimal supervision
Ability to identify missing information and prepare query lists of information required to complete a job
An extremely proactive attitude to ‘get the job done’ and the ability to take ownership over tasks to ensure they get done
An extremely proactive attitude towards communicating daily with offshore managers and ensuring that all tasks received are understood and clarified when required
Ability to manage your own workflow and communicate effectively to managers around expectations and timeframes
