Game Producer  

The Video Game Producer is responsible for leading overall product/project management, development and resource allocation for game development. He/She will work closely with the various teams to ensure that game development runs smoothly and assist in communication between the departments helping the teams stay on task with ongoing projects.

The position manages the different aspects of video game development and ensure production is on schedule and budget.

• Manage all cross-functional aspects of both internal and external projects from concept to launch to live operations
• Direct and coordinate the development of assigned studio projects
• Develop strategies to keep projects efficient and on budget with high quality standards.
• Create and maintain project schedules, milestones, benchmarks, and releases
• Ensure teams hit established goals
• Manage the initial and ongoing development of detailed written game and technical specifications
• Review game with quality and consistency in mind and provide constructive feedback collaboratively with leadership
• Oversee a diverse array of projects with strong emphasis on multi-tasking and context switching
• Work collaboratively with cross functional teams to mitigate risks
• Foster an environment that creates a positive team experience and high morale
• Conduct timely performance reviews in accordance with company performance program
• Manage multiple projects with the ability to adapt quickly
• Clearly communicate effectively across all levels of the company regarding assigned projects

• 4+ years of experience in the games development industry
• 2+ years’ experience leading teams and managing projects
• Previous Production experience in a creative industry/environment
• Knowledge of game industry-standard software tools, design documents and production processes/best practices (budgets, game concept and prototyping creation, project management, bug reports and defect tracking).
• Must be highly organized and detail oriented with great time management skills
• Strong decision-making capabilities with a demonstrable ability to think outside the box
• Strong mediation and problem-solving skills
