Minimum Qualifications:
Graduated from college
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Management, Communications Research, Statistics or other related courses
  • 2-3 years of experience in Market Analysis, Market Research, Data Mining, Report Generation and Preparation of Presentation Materials
  • Superior communication skills especially in written form
  • Superior research skills, especially thoroughness in data gathering
  • Proficient in Excel and/or MS Access, and/or SQL queries (experience with Macros is an advantage)
  • Proficient in MS Powerpoint
  • Business Understanding: Industry Analysis, Market Analysis, Time Management, Basic Finance/Business Math
  • Must be amenable to work in Mandaluyong City (Robinson's Cybergate Plaza)
  • Must be willing to work on a fixed midhsift schedule (2pm-11pm) with fixed Saturday & Sunday rest days.
Job Description

Database Management

  • Designs and develops basic database queries to generate data for periodic reports based on various criteria, e.g. by product, customer/market, channel, among others. on trends for sales/orders trends, profitability, and other related information as requested by internal customers
  • Performs regular data processing tasks needed to generate reports and analytical presentations
  • Maintains, organizes and manages various types of databases through data cleaning, consolidation, and validation of numbers and other information
  • Maintains updated queries and data points to reflect recent changes or manual adjustments

Market Intelligence/Research

  • Monitors industry trends and informs sales and marketing groups of any updates/developments
  • Conducts periodic research on competitor's performance, marketing activities, product launches, business strategies and other relevant information
  • Conducts periodic business research on specific construction markets such as healthcare, datacenter, waste water, and other growing sectors, especially on construction activities that may be considered as project leads for the Sales Group

Analysis and Report Generation

  • Generates periodic sales and other related reports to the Sales and Marketing Group
  • Provides standard analysis on sales performance, such as market trends and opportunities, profitability, pricing and other relevant analysis
  • Generates adhoc analytical reports and insights as requested by the Sales & Marketing Group
